German show update

Due to reasons beyond our control we unfortunately have to cancel our shows in Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne. 

We were very much looking forward to playing for you all and we are so sorry to have to make this announcement. 

We will return at a later stage and make it up to you. Tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase.

Cologne show update

 

Starsailor's show in Cologne - scheduled for Friday 3 June - will now take place at Gebaude 9. 

The gig is one of three dates that the band will play in Germany during their first headline European Tour since 2017: the Cologne show follows on from gigs in Berlin (Tuesday 31 May) and Hamburg (Wednesday 1 June).

All original tickets for the Cologne show remain valid. Tickets for all three German shows are available now via the Karsten Jahnke website.

Tickets for Starsailor's Love is Here 20th Anniversary UK Tour in September 2022 are now on sale.

All original tickets for the shows in Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle - all of which were postponed in December 2021 - still remain valid for the rescheduled dates.

Ticket holders for Manchester should also note that this show is now taking place at the O2 Ritz (Whitworth Street West, Manchester, M1 5NQ).

Love is Here 20th Anniversary UK Tour details announced

Starsailor's much-anticipated Love is Here 20th Anniversary UK Tour will resume in September, nine months after the initial run of shows was interrupted owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 15-date tour comprises the five shows postponed in December, alongside 10 new gigs in towns and cities not previously visited during the first leg.

Original tickets for those postponed shows - Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester (which will now take place at the O2 Ritz) and Newcastle - will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Ticket holders should expect to be contacted by their point of purchase with further details in due course.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale at 9am on Friday 4 March.

Starsailor will play their first headline shows in Europe since 2017 this summer as the acclaimed Love is Here 20th Anniversary Tour moves across the channel.

Starsailor to play first-ever Live /s Live Festival in Belgium

Belgium: we're coming back!

We're looking forward to playing the inaugural Live /s Live Festival, taking place on Zeebrugge Beach on Sunday 19 June. 

Live /s Live Festival is a new event that focuses on the ultimate visitor experience during renowned artists' live concerts.

We're performing on day two of the festival, alongside Duran Duran, Mika, Novastar and Zornik.

Tickets are available now via Ticketmaster and cost €69.00 each. 

James Walsh announces UK solo tour

Don't miss James Walsh as he embarks on an 11-date solo tour of the UK in May and June. 

Looking ahead to the shows, James said: "I'm looking forward to sharing songs from my solo albums and EPs; a few Starsailor tunes; and covers thrown in, of course!"

The dates that will be rescheduled are:

We're working with the venues to fit these shows in and will publicise rescheduled dates once confirmed across our website and social media channels. Additionally, we expect that ticket holders will be contacted by the agents through whom they made their initial purchase. 

All previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rearranged dates. Subject to availability, remaining tickets from the original dates will also be put on sale again.

Love Is Here 20th Anniversary Editions now available!

The much-anticipated 20th anniversary editions of Starsailor's seminal Love Is Here album are now available! 

Originally released in 2001, the band celebrate this milestone with a Deluxe Edition 2CD set and 2LP black vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. 

The release features the original album with a bonus disc full of covers, demos, session recordings, rarities, five brand-new 20th anniversary edition tracks and newly written liner notes by the band. 

"With the new tracks we did no want to simply re-record the same versions so we worked on new arrangements & new sounds," said James. "Way To Fall is much more understated and gentle than the original but it works really well. Good Souls invokes the powerful song it has turned into after numerous big live performances, where it had to take on a larger life than the subtle studio recording on Love Is Here." 

A range of limited edition merchandise has also been released to celebrate the album's 20th birthday.
